Bike tour through Bergamo’s hills + picnic in nature!
By popular demand, Ride Moez is back on Sunday, May 18, 2025! This free, open-to-all event is perfect for anyone who loves to ride through nature and discover the most beautiful cycling paths around Bergamo. Meet us at 9:30 AM in Largo Rezzara, right in front of Moez.
We’ll head out towards the Bergamo greenway, riding along scenic, low-traffic routes surrounded by greenery and gentle hills. The pace will be relaxed and family-friendly—ideal for chatting, enjoying the landscape, and sharing a sense of community.
eBikes are recommended, especially for tackling the uphill sections with ease, and cargo bikes are more than welcome, particularly if you’re bringing little ones along! Kids will have space to play once we arrive at the Biodiversity Valley of Astino, where the ride ends with a laid-back picnic in the open air.
The Friends of the Bergamo Botanical Garden Association will kindly offer a dedicated bike, eBike, and cargo parking area at the valley. That same day, the Spring Festival will be taking place, with nature-based activities open to the public.
What to Bring: a water bottle, a picnic blanket, your own packed lunch… or pre-order one and we’ll take care of it!
For just €5, enjoy a light, veggie-friendly lunch box prepared with care by the students of ISchool Bergamo.
Here’s what’s inside:
- Whole wheat sandwich with bean spread, marinated zucchini, and yogurt sauce
- Baked arancini with tomato, mozzarella, and peas
- Apple muffin and chocolate muffin
- Flavored water (mint, sage, and seasonal herbs)
