The Load5 60 Touring is the ideal companion for any daily task. Commuting to work, taking the kids to school, weekly grocery runs, day trips out of town or long journeys — there’s no situation it can’t handle with ease, carrying everything you need along the way. The 60 cm loading platform can be configured to suit your needs for transporting luggage, children or four-legged friends. The standard box comes with low side panels, but can be set up with many optional extras, such as high side panels with a weatherproof cover, or the Family Kit: seats for two children with safety belts and an easily removable waterproof hood that protects against rain and cold.
The Load5 60 frame, which can support a total weight of up to 200 kg, is made with 25% recycled aluminium. Thanks to the adjustable stem and flexible saddle position, it quickly adapts to your preferences, whether you’re sporty or prefer a relaxed ride. The standard lowerable seatpost is particularly noticeable because it allows you to maintain maximum control when stopping with a heavy load on board.
The Load5 60 is extraordinarily agile and maintains ground contact even on rough surfaces and at speed, thanks to front fork and rear suspension — this is made possible by Riese & Müller’s Control Technology. Total control and comfort in every situation.
The powerful Bosch Cargo Line motor now delivers an impressive maximum torque of 100 Nm and raises the pedal assist level up to 400%: it has all the power needed to tackle any gradient. Distance is no issue thanks to the generous integrated 725 Wh battery — the Load5 will take you wherever you want to go!
The Bosch Smart System keeps you one step ahead at all times; with the Purion 200 controller, everything is always within reach. With the 11-speed Shimano CUES transmission, you can make efficient use of the motor’s performance. The powerful headlight with daytime running light, the rear light with brake light, and well-positioned reflectors make you perfectly visible and ensure maximum visibility for you as well.
Whether you use it in the city or on long trips, the sturdy rear rack with MIK system lets you attach crates and bags quickly and securely.
Speaking of safety: the disc brake system with 180 and 230 mm rotors provides maximum stopping power.
