The new Thule Chariot Cross 2 introduces several innovations to improve practicality, safety, and comfort for child trailers. The hitch/release system has been completely revised, making it more compact and easier to use; the front wheels can rotate 180° to switch from stroller to trailer mode without removal; the rear bag has been redesigned to be more practical and airtight.

The folding mechanism has been improved for greater speed and security, while the suspension offers three levels of adjustment. The interior has been redesigned for greater comfort, with new padded seats and the option to position a single central seat in the double version.

Other features include frame deflectors to protect the rear wheels, new front air vents, more elegant colors, a new rear light, and optional accessories such as a removable waterproof mat.
