MOEZ, in collaboration with professional guide Elena Marchesi, invites you to join the Water Tour through Bergamo’s hills and Città Alta. This unique itinerary takes you on a journey to discover hidden fountains, ancient aqueducts, and historic washhouses that have shaped the city over the centuries. Because water is a resource, energy, and life.
The water network of Bergamo Alta and the surrounding hills dates back to Roman times and has evolved continuously through the centuries. While many fountains of different styles and eras are visible throughout the city, this tour goes beyond the obvious, revealing lesser-known corners and hidden gems that most visitors never see.

The route covers approximately 15 km in and around Bergamo. It is suitable for everyone, although an eBike is recommended to comfortably tackle the hills. If you don’t have one, you can rent an eBike from MOEZ at a special discounted rate for the occasion.
